Initial Ideas for Coursework: Individual

IDEA 1:
The film opens with the camera tracking a young woman going about her morning routine ie putting on a robe, tying up her hair. She then wanders into the kitchen to make a cup of tea. After making her tea, she carries it on the way to the living room. The door to the living room is closed and there is a pool of blood collecting under the crack of the door. This startles her, making her drop the cup of tea which smashes on the floor. Equilibrium is disrupted.
TA: Teenagers, male and female adults aged 18-35
Genre: Thriller/ Drama

IDEA 2:
A girl wakes up in a room after a night a drug abuse filled with used drug parephenalia (used syringes, coke powder on mirrors). She attempts to 'sober' herself up as she is still very groggy and disorientated. The camera will be half handheld and half filmed on a tripod to reflect her mental state. As she walks out of the room she stumbles over her friend who is apparently comatose from drug use. Failing to wake her friend up she checks her pulse and realising she is dead, starts crying and screaming.
