Main Shoot: Fri 26th Feb and Sun 28th Feb 2010

The Friday shoot did not go too well. We did not manage to get the shots we planned on re-shooting. This may have been because we did not walk through the changes to the script with our actress, this meant that she did not understand what she was meant to do.

The Sunday shoot was cancelled because our actress was ill. This is not something we could have forseen, and therefore we will have to shoot most of our shots on the back up shoot.

Changing the Ending

After looking through our test shoot footage, we realised that the ending did not make sense.

We made changes to the narrative:

• Zoe enters Summer's room, and after pulling back the bedcovers finding Summer gone she looks around the room and also looks around the house for her.
• Realising she has gone, she sits on the stairs and starts to panic.
• The house phone rings. Zoe jumps up and runs down the stairs to pick up the call.
• Answering the call, Zoe will shout "Hello?! Hello?! Who is this? What have you done with her?!"

Changes with camera angles.

• We will have an initial establishing shot when Zoe enters the room. We will pan across the room, following her movement.
• The camera will remain stationary in the hallway while Zoe looks around the house for Summer.
• We will have an CU of Zoe panicking on the stairs.
• LA when Zoe runs down the stairs to pick up the ringing house phone
• MS of Zoe on the phone to the anonymous caller.

Test Shoot: Fri 5th Feb and Sun 7th Feb 2010

The test shoot went really well. We followed the shooting schedule and managed to shoot at least every shot three times.
We shared out the work between the group members, and hopefully when we go back to school we will be able to identify the areas which were good and the areas which need improving.
